Pierre-Yves Couturier is a partner at one of the leading French law firms. He specializes in criminal litigation with emphasis on notorious white-collar cases. He represents major French, European and US companies. Pierre-Yves Couturier received his education at the University of Bordeaux where he obtained his Master’s degree in corporate law and an Advanced degree in private law. He also hold a Diploma of the Criminology Division at the René Descartes School of Medicine (University of Paris V). He has written and lectured on various legal issues relating to French and International criminal law. He is a member of the International Association of Criminal Law and was appointed Defense Counsel for the International Criminal Tribunals. In 2006, he represented the judges during the highly publicized hearings in front of the Parliamentary Committee investigating the French criminal system. |
